Snow Time

We had a fairly extensive snow period start on thursday the 7th with the melt only starting 2 days ago. This caused problems with the water and we were restricted to no clothes washing from saturday and no showers from sunday afternoon... I have had a bucket bath (yes, one), but then again everyone else smells just as bad so there's no problem there.

Hoping the water storage tanks are full in the next couple of days so that we can start washing again.

On the hand, this place is very pretty in the snow and here's a few shots to show you what I mean. For those playing at home, if the picture looks a little distorted it's because I've been playing with f-stop settings on my camera.

They'll probably have to clean that before using it.

Tractors don't care too much if there's snow

Snow Station

Some of the people who have been here multiple times over the past 10 - 15 years were saying that this is the most snow they've ever seen at the station.

Take a look at this week's "This week at Macquarie"... I'll leave it up to all of you to guess what's on the lower half of my body.
